When making an order official, Lavish Whisk requires a 50% retainer/deposit. 

By making the retainer, your special occasion date is reserved.  The retainer is non-refundable.  

Additional payments made above retainer are made at clients discretion only and are not necessary. All  additional payments made at will, are non refundable after 30 days of cleared payment.
Wedding/Large event orders that need be canceled must do so no later than 3mo prior to final payment day or balance will remain due.


COVID 19: Due to the 2020 National pandemic an update to our policy has been necessary (Changes effective as of 3/17/2020). 

If an event must be canceled or rescheduled 2 weeks or prior to the booked event due to CDC issued restrictions or venue closure, there will be NO charge or loss of deposit to change the date. If a reschedule cannot be made at time of cancellation, the deposit/payments will become a non transferable credit to be used within 1 years of the date of original event.   

If a cancellation or reschedule is requested less than 2 weeks prior to the event, only 50% of deposit will be credited to new date or issued for non transferable credit as all necessary supplies will have been purchased/ordered, and the partial deposit will be used to cover the now unusable supplies. Orders can only be rescheduled 1 time. 


The final balance must be paid no later than 1 week prior to pick up/delivery or order will be considered void. Payment can be made by paying online via the emailed paypal invoice (paypal account is NOT required to make invoice payment), credit/debit via card reader in person, Venmo app, facebook pay, cash (in person only), or check (if mailed, must be received by due date).


For any changes of size, flavors, design to the cake/cupcake order must be made within 14 days prior to your Event date. Any changes requested after this date cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to additional charges. No changes can be made 7 days prior to date.


Lavish Whisk is not responsible for any damage to the cake after setup or pick up is complete. You are responsible for providing a secure table/setting and environment for the cake order, this also includes appropriate temperature. Cakes are heavy and require a sturdy stand & table, and optimal room temperature of 75 degrees or below.
If you have cake stands, cake toppers or flowers that you wish to have added on to the cake, or to have cake/cupcakes placed on, all items need to be on the cake table at scheduled time of delivery. Due to the delicacy of the cake, Flowers/embellishments you wish to be added to the cake must be done so by Lavish Whisk.
Note: You acknowledge and understand that fresh flowers are not a food product, and may contain pesticides, insects, dirt, or other contaminants.
Lavish Whisk products may contain or come into contact with milk, eggs, wheat, nuts, soy, and other allergens. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold us harmless for allergic reactions.


Setting & keeping an appointment time for pick up is important. 

If you miss your pick up time there will be a $10.00 late fee for EVERY 20 minutes past set time. If you miss by an hour or more you will be issued a new day/time for pick up and a firm $50.00 late fee for the inconvenience. 
Order will NOT be released without payment of late fee.
**If you have to change your time, this request must be done NO LATER than 3 hours prior to original scheduled pick up or late fee's will still be issued.
-If you chose to pick up and set up the cake at your event, you assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of the cake once it leaves Lavish Whisk' possession.
-When picking up, please make sure there is a flat/level clean space for the boxed cake to be placed.
-Keep cake out of direct sunlight & heat. If you cannot avoid sunlight, make sure that the AC can reach the box to keep the temp appropriate.  Do not place a cake in to a truck or back hatch without circulating air. 
-Prior to pick up I will take a photograph of your cake/cupcakes to confirm it's completion & condition were properly handled. Lavish Whisk reserve the right to use any and all photographs/videos taken, for display or promotion without compensation to the client.
All cakes 3 tiers or greater are NOT available for pick up. Please arrange delivery & ask regarding delivery fees.


There are delivery fee's in addition to the cake costs. 
$50.00 for all weddings & large events, as well as out of town deliveries. (this includes set up).
$25.00 for local non wedding deliveries (no set up).
At delivery I will take a photograph of your cake/cupcakes to confirm delivery and setup were properly made.

Lavish Whisk reserves the right to use any and all photographs/videos taken for display or promotion without compensation to the client.


If you feel that there is an unfortunate issue with your order, that makes the order inedible and a request of a partial refund is warranted, the request must be made with in 24 hours of pick up/delivery of the order. The request must be made in writing via email, messenger, or text by whom the order was placed by.  Any uneaten portion needs to be returned within 24 hours. A refund is not a guarantee, together we will review the issue at hand, and determine the most suitable solution.
